LETTER DELIVERY IMPROVEMENTS
Mr J. Francis, MHR, has been advised that it is proposed to improve existing services in the Upper Mount Gravatt, Kuraby and. Runcorn districts by;
Increasing the frequency of the Mount Gravatt postal delivery service to six times weekly, and in addition making the daily delivery from ML Gravatt within a defined area.
Establishing a daily letter delivery service within a defined area from Upper Mt. Gravatt.
Increasing the frequency of the daily letter delivery service from Eight Mile Plains to six times weekly and extending the area.
It is considered the postal requirements of the residents of the Kuraby-Runcorn district are being reasonably met by existing facilities, and when this area becomes more closely settled, the question of introducing a letter delivery will be further examined.
