The main BSHN Project is the Mapping Brisbane History (MBH) Project. The project in 2012-2013 was the pilot study to launch the MBH website. It was an initiative of the Coopers Plains Local History Group Inc., and funded by the Brisbane City Council Community History Grant Program. Stage Two and Three of the project is being funded by a second grant in the Brisbane City Council Community History Grant Program. This work is leading towards a revision of the MBH website, a developing of the historical mapping programs for the website, and a production of 8-12 short but quality, fully-referenced, illustrated essays on the theme of how landscapes and environments have been modified over time in Brisbane’s Southside suburbs.
