MEETS.
THE REDCLIFFE LINE SCHEMES.
The members of the Public Works Commission have boon considering several railway proposals referred to them last year. The report on the proposed connection between Roma and Springsure has boon printed and handed to the Chief Secretary. Yesterday morning the commission met at the Treasury Buildings to take further evidence on several railway proposals. Mr. J. Stopford, M.L.A., occupied the chair.

REDLAND BAY RAILWAY.
Mr. Sexton was asked his opinion about the three proposed routes to Redland Bay, namely, from Cleveland, from Belmont, via Mount Cotton, and from Sunnybank, via Mount Cotton., He stated that the reports on this railway were over 80 years old. It was decided to write to the Railway Department asking for an inspection and report on each of the proposed routes before coming to a. decision.
